P2P Consultancy emerged from our pioneering documentary, Preschool to Prison. We have honed a unique expertise in Executive Leadership Mindset Coaching, dismantling oppressive structures, and supporting organizations to rebuild through mindful, inclusive practices. Our unwavering mission is to decisively deconstruct racism and discrimination. We aim to cultivate spaces of healing where liberating leadership practices and behaviors are embraced, nurturing acceptance of individual differences, fostering a sense of belonging, and prioritizing psychological safety, especially within communities that have been historically marginalized and mistreated.

Dismantling the Pipeline workshop
In the United States, it's estimated that 17,000 preschool students are suspended or expelled, with Black boys accounting for over 47% of these disciplinary actions. Educators are faced with overwhelming demands and a lack of resources, often finding themselves ill-equipped to handle the challenges presented in their environments. This workshop is designed to guide participants in recognizing and replacing the rules, practices, behaviors, and mindsets that contribute to this troubling trend. Through introspective exercises, collaborative hands-on activities, and practical strategies, attendees will gain the skills to deconstruct this harmful disciplinary cycle and work towards creating a secure and inclusive educational environment for all children.

COURSE 02
Facts and Myths about Special Education
Explore the complexities that arise in the education system when providing support to students with limited English proficiency, and how these circumstances can result in unwarranted referrals for special education services. This course emphasizes realistic supports at home and school to prevent unnecessary referrals for special education services (2 hours).

Navigating the intricate web of laws and policies in Special Education can often feel like an intimidating and daunting task. This course provides tangible resources and tips to support parents and educators with understanding their role, responsibilities, and rights within the special education process (90 minutes).

The Underutilization of Paraprofessionals
Paraprofessionals are frequently overlooked and lack the support they need. Supplying them with essential resources and training is vital in dismantling the preschool-to-prison pipeline. Driven by a deep-seated commitment to combating injustice, she is a staunch advocate for equitable resources in both the Black and brown community and the special needs community.
